Terms and conditions

1. Provisional bookings remain firm for one week pending return of booking form and 25% deposit.

2. The balance is due one month prior to the arrival date. Non payment by this date will be treated as cancellation and the deposit is forfeit.

3. Where bookings are made less than one month prior to the arrival date, the full rental fee is payable immediately.
|
4. In the event of cancellation, please advise us immediately. We will attempt to re-let the property and return your payment, less a handling charge of £20. If we are unable to re-let the property, all monies paid will be forfeit.

5. Christmas Place is available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival, and must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure.

6. The number of people occupying a cottage must not exceed the number stated on the booking form unless agreed by special arrangement with the proprietors or their agent.

7. The property should be left in the same condition as found. Any breakage's should be reported at once and we reserve the right to charge for any nontrivial damage, in the first instance using the deposit monies held.

8. In the unlikely event of Christmas Place being unavailable for reasons beyond our control, e.g. fire damage, we will notify you immediately, and we will give a complete refund. No further liability will be accepted.

9. Use of Christmas Place is entirely at the hirer’s risk; No responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss or damage to the hirer, hirer’s property or companions and guests. The rear steps to the property are uneven in height and care must be taken when using these.
